Bradley Woodward, 41, of Cedar Lake, is facing several felony charges after an undercover investigation uncovered drugs, firearms, and trafficking tools at a Portage residence.
On May 15, 2025, the Porter County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home where Woodward had been staying. The search followed a controlled fentanyl purchase set up by a police informant. Detectives monitored the transaction before entering the property.

According to investigators, Woodward admitted to traveling out of state to purchase narcotics, bringing back fentanyl and heroin, and then mixing and distributing the substances from the Portage location. Despite a previous burglary conviction, he was found with two firearms.
